#55

Last show of the year tonight with my good friends and fellow ukulele players, The Meteor Boys. I play at 9pm and they are on at 10pm.

Schooner Tavern, 2901 27th Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55406

I was trying to slow down and take time off but it’s hard to say no to these charming fella’s.

My newest recording is almost done. A single called “Loving You’. This will be a part of the ‘Slim Town Singles’ project, which is an online project to raise money for Slim Dunlap’s medical care. Details on facebook under Slim Town Singles page.

Coming out soon on Youtube will be a fun little project I did a few months ago. It’s called the ‘Naked Songwriter’ and put together by DEMO. They just uploaded the first episode and it features Ben Kyle. It’s a segment on songs and songwriting. I forget what I even said when I did it so it will be fun to watch!

Thank you all for supporting me this year. Show number 55 tonight!!

See you next year xx

Year end festivities and announcing a new Monthly Showcase

As some of you know I have been a very busy lady and decided to slow down a little this month. I planned a couple of solo shows and some downtime. Sure enough after a couple of weeks off I missed my bandmates like crazy!!

SO the solo ‘House Show’ I have coming up this Saturday, December 7th 7pm-10pm, (See details below) became a Trio show. The last one for the year!

Sweet 317 (House show)
308 Prince Street, Saint Paul, MN 55101
This is a show that is pretty intimate and special. You bring a bottle (If you wish) and we put on a show and provide the snacks and the ambiance ; )

It’s not too late to come and you can buy tickets at the door too. I will be bringing cookies.

Then looking ahead to the New Year I have a special announcement. I will be hosting a monthly music series at the Amsterdam. Much like Billy Joel’s new digs at Madison Square Garden, I will be playing a regular set and inviting other bands to join in too.

So save the date, Second Tuesday’s of the month. Starting January.

Love and best wishes, keep safe and cozy if you can.
